Save Money! - Keller Truck Seals / Tri-State Security Seals Stops Tampering, Pilferage, Contamination

Hello. Welcome to our Single Item for Sale webpage. Trading, buying and selling Online directly, by mail and privately is usually much cheaper, more convenient, safer and less time-consuming than the drudgery of driving around (gas is very high!), finding parking, and hiking through retail stores!

Each of our several Single Item for Sale webpages is devoted to a single item of which we have very high quantities - far more than we can use. Each webpage is hotlinked to our popular items4trade.htm webpage. Most of our large-quantity single items are not listed on Single Items pages because most are small electronic parts (e.g. CMOS integrated circuits) which require only small descriptions - all easily combined onto one page (e.g. items4trade.htm) using similar wording. To check all of our items we are selling, search our items4trade.htm webpage or our eBay Store (under "troodont"), at http://stores.ebay.com/consumertronics (about 500 items). Most items located in Albuquerque, NM. Interested in local pick-up / delivery options if you are in Albuquerque, NM, area? Then please email me (NOTE: We don't have a local store open to public).

Since you can purchase the Item listed below in any quantity from 1 to 100s or even 1,000s (some items), and prices may change even for same quantities, we don't include prices. Of course your per item price and S/H cost per item usually much decrease for larger orders, and we try to be reasonable. Usually, if we can verify an actual price for the same available item make and model elsewhere in same quantity and condition, we will beat its price for you. Should you be interested in this Item, email me to: wizguru@consumertronics.net (SUBJECT Line: "ITEM OF INTEREST"), and state your proposed deal (e.g. Quantity. Buy or Trade? Your address for S/H. Any suggested price.) (NOTE: For initial contacts, I much prefer email over phone.) More information on how to do hardware business with us is on our items4trade.htm webpage.

Keller Security Seals / Tri-State Security Seals / Safety Seals great for the home, office, business, shop, farm, ranch, yard, field, RV, truck, camping, hunting, fishing, etc. Prevents/detects tampering, pilferage, contamination, threats, intrusions, surveillance, industrial espionage, identity thefts, safety violations, security violations, Albuquerque, New Mexico
NEW KELLER TRUCK SEALS /
TRI-STATE SECURITY SEALS / SAFETY SEALS /
SECURITY SEALS / NUMBERED TAMPERPROOF SEALS /
ANTI-PILFERAGE SEALS - Finally, Peace of Mind!!

These very high quality, useful and versatile tamperproof numbered seals are bright red durable plastic (you can easily spot and identify your protected item as well as any breach of it far enough away to not be in danger), 7" long and 3/8" wide, and uniquely numbered with a 7-digit number. The seals cannot be picked open, pried open, sprung open or bypassed. Without cutting or severely burning, melting or twisting the seals - all very obvious - these seals cannot be opened. Period. Once sealed, the seal locking mechanism is not accessible. These seals is a very reliable method for detecting and preventing otherwise hidden threats, intrusions, surveillance, tampering, contamination, and pilferage and other rip-offs, security violations and safety violations.

Security seals / safety seals are not usually used to replace locks, but often in conjunction with locks to verify that the locks have not been picked open (lockpicking kits are inexpensive and widely available Online, elsewhere) or bypassed with an unauthorized key (e.g. stolen key, master key), and in some cases the lock keys/combinations must go with the person who the item is temporarily entrusted to (e.g. drivers of trucks and trailers, storage facilities and cargo handlers), of whom locks alone offer no protection against. As Ronald Reagan used to say, "Trust but verify."

Some items which seals protect that come with locks have locks that are so flimsy and easy to pick or bypass that their laughable locks result in almost zero security (e.g. suitcases, brief cases, purses, etc.). Because most locks can be opened with an unauthorized key, picked, cut or pried open, and in all cases where the entire item can be stolen with/without a lock, locks alone mostly offer only a costly false sense of security.

The truth is that crooks who operate or have regular access to lockers, storage facilities, moving containers / moving services, shipping containers / shipping services, motels / hotels / lodges, record areas, secure areas, etc. routinely obtain master keys, combinations lists, and lockpicking kits to enrich themselves by stealing from all of the fools who think their locks actually secure their items. Even combination locks are not safe because they normally come with a serial number and there are lists available that give the combinations based on lock serial numbers.

In many jurisdictions, the unauthorized breaking of a security seal or safety seal is both a criminal offense and a tort, thereby giving you extra layers of legal protection than just locks by themselves (I am not an attorney so check for yourself for your jurisdiction). If the lock is picked or opened with a key/combination, it is much more difficult to prove that you have been pilfered from or compromised.

In some cases, the locks with/without seals are used on the outer container (e.g. truck, trailer, cargo container) and seals on one or more of the inner containers (e.g. you are moving, or you have a variety of cargo some of which is valuable).

Many of the valuable item types listed below which seals protect don't normally come with locks at all but still need to be protected (e.g. individual jewelry items, antiques, rare collectibles, equipment, expensive tools, clothes items and accessories, etc.). And many locks don't offer much more protection from being cut or jimmied (e.g. most padlocks) but yet are at least 10 times more expensive each than seals.

The replacement cost for each seal is about as much as a tie-wrap of about the same dimensions - so inexpensive that cutting the seal to get to your protected item is a tiny cost compared to the peace of mind the seal gives you. (Many plastic tie-wraps and small cheap locks can be easily picked using an Xacto knife, paper clip or small screwdriver and then re-applied without a noticeable difference, tie-wraps are not uniquely numbered and therefore cannot be tracked or documented, and tie-wraps can be easily replaced by a look-alike).

These anti-theft seals are ideal for protecting and sealing countless items: Trailers, cargo, trucks and canopies, cars, motorcycles, bikes, other vehicles, aircraft, boats, RVs, mobile homes, tools, tool boxes, machines, equipment, rental equipment, furniture, lockers, storage cabinets / storage bins / storage sheds, refrigerators / freezers, drug cabinets / medical cabinets, chemical / biological / radiation containers, waste / trash / salvage containers, emergency supplies / food items that cannot be contaminated / unaccounted for, guns / ammunition / weapons of all types, jewelry / jewels / gems / precious metals, valuable antiques / collectibles / collections / display cabinets, toys / games / sports items, store inventory / sale items / demo items / display items, gifts / surprises, shoes / other clothes items / clothes accessories, money boxes / money machines, dispensing machines, hand bags, shopping bags, file cabinets, records drawers, luggages / briefcases / valises / portfolios / satchels / dossiers, duffle bags, fuel pumps / dispensers / storages, valves / other control devices / control mechanisms, meters / other usage registration devices, computers / computer peripherals, hard drives / other memory storage devices, and of course a huge variety of doors, windows, gates, portholes, access points, etc.

These seals are also excellent for sealing your home, job and/or business when you are away from them to make sure some rapist, home invader or stalker is not waiting inside for your return (or your children's return), some pervert is not in your home fantasizing about your undies when you are out, some thief is not stealing your stuff and/or your identity (burglaries are a major source of identity theft), or some spy, snoop or goon is not invading your privacy by doing a black bag job on you.

Today, when you are away from your home, job or business, virtually anything is possible! Have you ever gone on a vacation or travel, and when you got back to your home, job or business, you found tools and other valuable items mysteriously missing/damaged/dirty from your "still" locked containers, drawers, lockers and cabinets? Or it looks like someone has rummaged through your stuff? Yet, you have no way of being able to prove anything. Or while you were on vacation or travel, stuff mysteriously disappearing out of your suitcases and bags while you are out for breakfast or at theme park or conference - stolen by motel/hotel/lodge employees with sticky fingers? This sometimes happens even when you go to a gym to work out for a short time and you think that you stuff is safe in one their "locked" lockers.

These seals are also excellent as cargo seals to make sure that the items that arrive at the destination are the exact same items you shipped and have not been pilfered, switched or otherwise tampered with (you usually have to give the keys to the driver or cargo handler for emergency purposes) (e.g. home moves, business moves and freight sales). If you are moving goods and you've hired movers who have the opportunity to steal items or rummage through your drawers, cabinets and plastic bins to steal items or your identity, seals should stop most of them. Because these seals are uniquely numbered, you can keep a detailed record of each item by its seal number as it is being loaded onto the truck or trailer or into storage, and then check them off at the other end or when you later return, so items cannot be tampered with or stolen from you and go unnoticed because you got busy or tired during your move! And you can easily document exactly what items are missing or tampered with for claims purposes. And again, seals are cheap - less than 10% of the cost of buying even a modest easily bypassed padlock for each of the items and containers you want to protect during your move, storage or shipping, and most locks are not numbered.

To survive these days, you practically have to be paranoid - far too much bizarre, dangerous and illegal stuff is going on all of the time! With the economy very bad for some people these days, I would expect theft crimes - especially pilferage crimes - to greatly increase. If you want to keep what is yours, you MUST increase your security. Period. These security seals not only help prevent thefts and privacy invasions but also violent acts perpetrated by violent criminals and terrorists accessing homes, businesses, vehicles, luggage, equipment, furniture, etc. to sneak in or plant explosives or other dangerous devices, deadly devices or toxic substances. And to prevent industrial espionage and identity theft. And to prevent snoops from secretly planting listening devices and miniature cameras, recorders and transmitters in these same item types (surveillance countermeasures).

When you use seals on your home or business, every door, window and other possible entry point must be secured with a seal (keep record of seal numbers with you because even if the crook or stalker uses a similar replacement seal (these particular seals are not known to be commonly available in stores), his seal will have a different number). You know how trustworthy many people are today! And things are getting worse! Now, if you must leave your valuable items in the hands of someone else or unattended - even for a few minutes - you should use seals to make sure that when you get the items back they have not been rummaged through or, in cases of briefcases, file boxes, computers, internal/external memory storage units, etc., critical data has not been stolen or compromised.

As an Online Seller, I also use these seals to verify that an Item I ship, and if it is later returned to me, it is the very same item - even if the Item does not come with its own unique serial number (some dishonest Online buyers buy new or much better condition replacements of junk items they own so that they can then "return" their junk items for refunds). I do this by attaching the seal to any non-functional part of the Item, or by wrapping the seal a couple of times around the power cord (the seals are flexible so that they can be wrapped more than once to go around cables and thin structures so that they cannot be slipped off of the item), and recording seal number.

When it comes to machines, equipment and inventions, these seals are not only great for stopping people from stealing the entire machine or equipment but also for stopping them from internally accessing, disassembling or reverse-engineering the machine or equipment to protect trade secrets and proprietary designs (which also stops equipment sabotage, vandalism, parts cannibalism, and exposure to injury). For example, in one of my businesses where I do a lot of relatively expensive high-tech customized designs (Lone Star Consulting, Inc., lonestartek.com), some of which I do not want the customer to get inside of because of high-voltage and sharp objects safety, security or proprietary reasons, I use these protective seals to give notice to the customer that he is not allowed inside the equipment.

More than one seal can be joined together end-to-end to make a larger diameter seal loop if that is needed, for example, to encircle equipment. Also, you can loop seals together to form a seal chain so that the seal will go from the protected item to a more distant tie-down point or to connect up two or more protected items. You can also use the seals as sort of a "keychain" type device for keeping together like items. And of course the seals can also be used for many of the general uses that plastic tie-wraps are now used for (e.g. they are just the right size for bundling power cords and computer cords).

These seals have practically unlimited other uses, not all security-related. Some examples:
           (1) To identify and keep track of the location of things for inhouse uses, such as company tools, equipment, materials and supplies distributed to employees and contractors or out on site, and to quickly identify and keep track of your items in situations, for example, where there are multiple contractors on one site.
           (2) In accident, natural disaster, criminal, terrorism, medical emergency and field triage situations, these seals can be used in life-saving capacities similar to hospital bracelets to uniquely identify victims or patients on the spot where mistaken identity can result in medical delays and mistakes and cost lives, and to identify and secure evidence and property.
           (3) These seals are ideal in situations where for privacy or secrecy reasons you want to conceal the names of persons or items and yet still be able to uniquely identify them and keep track of them, for examples, for medical examination / medical testing, investigative, etc. reasons.
           (4) If you have very similar or identical items or containers (e.g. inventory, tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) which you acquired or made, or need to use, repair, modify, install, store, remove from storage, fill order, ship, cycle or recycle in a certain critical order, these uniquely and sequentially numbered seals are an ideal method to maintain and keep track of them and exactly where they are located at all times.
           (5) These uniquely numbered seals are also a great means of conducting votes, contests, lotteries, door prizes and as use as uniquely numbered tickets to events and activities.
           (6) One person bought some from me because they make a, "cool bracelet," and that he would like to make them, "the rage of his school."
           (7) These seals can also be used for many and varied arts, crafts and game purposes as they are bright red, attractive and unique in appearance. One person uses them in a horseshoe-like game as tossing hoops to go around pegs labeled with various values. Another uses a few each year as Christmas tree ornaments.

Left image part shows a bundle of 20 of these seals, so we prefer to sell them in quantities of 20, up to about 10,000.

These seals are so versatile and useful that you almost cannot keep enough of them on hand. I find it a good practice just to keep about a dozen seals with me in my home, offices, workshops, laboratories, cars and tool boxes at all times as I find I need them often. Furthermore, since they are so versatile and perform so many important functions, your loved ones will also need some, so ordering in quantity to distribute or gift some to important family members, friends and associates is a very good idea.
