"Mystery Rock Inquiry."
In 1998, while on a hike, I found a
mystery rock with an embedded manmade-like electrical-like component (see
images below). It was encased in a very hard dirt with only the pin tips exposed, required many hours to clean, including picking away between the component and the edge of its hole with a dental tool. Is it of alien or UFO origin? Made by a high-tech ancient
people or advanced lost civilization? Of modern man-made origin? What was its
purpose? Was the component formed with my rock? Or was somehow later built
or press-fitted into my rock? Have you ever
heard or seen a similar phenomena? Would you like to evaluate my rock as
a paid professional consultant? Do you believe that my rock is a hoax/prank
and would like to debunk it ($100 Contest Rules below; provide
make and model/part # proof of the embedded component or the rock assembly itself)?
Much more below on all of this (hotlink to all forms:

Shame on the New Mexico Politically-Correct driven "scientific community" and phony skeptics for not showing any interest in evaluating and analyzing my rock even years after it has received global exposure! They are all nothing but a bunch of intellectual cowards with zero credibility.
ABOUT THE PHOTOS: Full photos shown are, left-to-right, Top, Side, Oblique, and Bottom Views. Please note that to achieve optimum alignment in the images above, my rock's proportions as displayed on your monitor are probably not exactly as those of my rock. The embedded component in my rock is round. Also, coloration and brightness have much to do with illumination of the object when picture was taken. Since I don't currently have a precision camera setup for very small objects, lighting varied considerably between shots. Coloration in top left (Top View) and bottom right (Bottom View) full photos are the most color true. Other than sharpening images to bring out more detail and cropping (trimming) the images to remove non-rock backgrounds, I have not edited the photos. As you can see, two of the component close-ups are clear and focused and the third is a little out of focus but still pretty clear and the best I could do after numerous tries for that oblique angle. The PC-Controlled chicken image resulted because after much efforts, I have not been able to get a single New Mexico scientist or skeptic to even take a look at my rock - apparently, they are all a bunch of PC-controlled chickens - so much for science credibility in New Mexico. Scientists and skeptics typically pontificate, 'I will believe in space aliens if only there was hard evidence of space aliens.' But when you present these intellectually dishonest cowards for them to test FREE OF CHARGE (more below) what certainly appears to be hard evidence of space aliens, they refuse to even look at it! The New Mexico "scientific community" includes The University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, New Mexico Institute of Mining And Technology, Sandia National Laboratories (Sandia Laboratories), Los Alamos National Laboratory, and others. The fact is that New Mexico scientists and skeptics will NEVER accept ANY evidence of space aliens because it seriously jeopardizes their cushy jobs and funding for lucrative programs such as the SETI Program (now called Project Phoenix). SETI has no realistic prospect of ever detecting space aliens because SETI clearly intentionally uses highly costly and very inefficient shotgun approaches to scan the cosmos everywhere for every possible radio frequency and intelligent waveform in such a wild goose chase that even the most inveterate, wild-eyed and sicko New Mexico casino gambler would back off from. New Mexico scientists will always refuse to look at my rock because if they did and discovered that it is of space alien origin, my rock would provide invaluable information to them as to both its origin in the cosmos (by analyzing chemical compositions and matching them up to spectral analysis of the cosmos) and the radio frequencies and modulations space aliens use to transmit signals (by analyzing the embedded electronic part), which would then clearly mean that SETI could do its job in a much more cost effective manner (far less profitable to SETI scientists and SETI equipment vendors) and with much greater probability of actually finding space aliens. The Skeptical Inquirer people have also refused to look at my rock. Clearly, if my rock is of space alien origin or lost advanced civilization origin, the credibility of Skeptical Inquirer and its fellow travellers would also plummet along with all of their fundings - yet they continue to spout their asinine politically-correct dogma that there is no hard evidence of space aliens or lost civilizations which have mastered and exceeded today's technologies. My ROCK PROPERTIES are described below. Many more eye-popping images of my rock with embedded electronic-like component - including X-Ray images - at => www.tsc-global.petradox2.htm
As stated herein, I have generously offered for years now to provide my rock for independent scientific testing, which offer I have especially extended to New Mexico scientists, universities and museums. However, I have received no indications from the scientific or skeptic community to test my rock. The reason is of course that if they should ever agree to test my rock then it is very likely that they will be forced to admit that my rock is of alien or lost advanced civilization origin - which totally blows away their previous lazy and comfortable Political Correctness positions on aliens and lost advanced civilizations. Professional skeptics receive huge donations from suckers based on their often stated positions that space aliens have not visited the Earth and are not among us today, and there are no lost advanced civilizations. And of course the scientists don't want to recognize any discovery here on Earth as being of a bonafide alien origin because then it would be pointless for them to try to send out those ultra-expensive and profitable space missions and communications efforts to try to find life "somewhere out there." In short, scientists and skeptics - especially institutionalized scientists and skeptics - are too cowardly, greedy and self-serving to show any interest in discovering the truth about my rock, and therefore their credibilities are zero. If they believe my rock is manmade, then clearly they must have a make model number or part number for my rock or for the embedded component in it, which after years of global exposure has not been provided to me which of course would exist and clearly be immediately and widely recognized if my rock or component were manmade. If you believe that they are manmade, all I ask is that you provide me the make and model / part number of either the rock assembly or the embedded part to prove that they are manmade.
Again, if you are a serious potential Buyer, scientist, newsmedia entity or skeptic and you wish to further scientifically test my rock, I am very open to such testing as long as you pay for all direct and indirect expenses, all testing is done in my presence in Albuquerque, New Mexico and in a manner that is safe and secure for both me and my rock, no destructive testing is permitted (limited number of small samples, scrapings and core drills are permitted), the tester(s) must be of verifiable identity and have verifiable and respected credentials (email me of your interest and all required details), and all testing must be completed within 30 calender days after the start of testing (i.e. test initiation). Furthermore, I must be notified of in writing and receive within 60 calender days after test initiation, at no cost to me and free for me and my heirs to use fee-free and royalty-free in perpetuity for both commercial and personal purposes the highest quality and complete copies of all images, videos, audio, test results, evaluations, analyses, and all other writings, images, videos and audio directly or indirectly related to any and all testing of my rock. NOTE: Testing my rock does NOT obligate you to buy my rock.

My rock (The Petradox or The Enigmalith)
with an embedded or implanted modern manmade-like electrical-like component
(apparently a connector of some type) appears as
in the composite image above. The Petradox's material appears to be
solid natural quartz and feldspar rhyolite or granite with embedded
coarse crystals of quartz (very little observed mica; I
am not a Geologist, one Geologist told me that it is most likely rhyolite
with a minimum age of 55,000 years). (NOTE:
an engineer who has examined my rock stated that its crystals are of
a material harder than quartz - perhaps even diamond!) The Petradox
is not an accretion, concretion, pumice or a fossil. It does not contain
any known resins, cements, glues, adhesives, limestone, mortar, or other
non-rhyolite / non-granite binding agents. It is very hard. |

Interested
in doing a Preliminary Evaluation of my rock? Some
researchers are showing a big interest in analyzing my rock but don't want to
travel all of the way to Albuquerque, NM.
I will also
gladly conduct all of the nondestructive, noninvasive tests on my rock using
YOUR EQUIPMENT (e.g. more testing for radiation using a Geiger
counter; X-rays; etc) you are interested in. Tests also include photographs
you want me to make for you, if any. Should you are interested in this approach,
please email me (Email Subject Line: "Request for Testing")
and specifically and completely describe what equipment you want me use that
you will lend to me free of charge to conduct your tests, as well as a complete
description of all tests and their procedures you want me to perform on my rock
and its component using your equipment. If you require, I will perform these
tests in front of up to 3 witnesses you designate and totally compensate, if
any, and I and/or a witness for you will photograph and/or videotape the testing
process if you so designate. You are responsible for all S/H and insurance costs
for you to ship your equipment to either me or to one of your witnesses. I will
then provide you time and cost estimates for completing your tests, as well
as all S/H and insurance costs required from you to return your equipment to
you once all testing is done (if you sent your equipment to one
of your witnesses then he/she is totally responsible for returning it to you
and for paying all return S/H). I am not responsible for the use of your
equipment by me, or for any damages or losses that may occur to your equipment
as long as I took reasonable care of it. Upon completion of your tests, your
equipment will be promptly returned to you as well as a written report by me
on all test results I was able to achieve, within 30 days of all test completions.
My written report to you will be in the form of a SWORN AFFIDAVIT (NOTE:
I maintain all rights to copy, distribute and/or publish my written report should
I wish to do so free of any and all costs, including royalties, or restrictions).
I will not
cut, clip, nick, chip, grind, drill or gouge any part of my rock for anything
more than a tiny amount, or apply any type of chemical to any part of my rock
other than distilled water and cleaning alcohol. By requesting a test, you will
have agreed to all of the following: (A) You shall provide me a free complete
written full analysis report of all of your findings within 30 days of when
I ship your test results to you (NOTE: I and my heirs and assigns
shall maintain all rights to copy, distribute and/or publish your written report
and analysis should I wish to do so free of any and all costs, including royalties,
or restrictions), and (B) If you publish about my rock in which you state
that my rock or its embedded component is not or probably not of alien or lost
advanced civilization origin or any similar or equivalent statement, you agree
to state the verifiable make and model or part number of the rock assembly or
the component to prove your statement, or you clearly state, "After
extensive research on a global basis of similar items, I have absolutely no
idea what the makes and model or part numbers of the rock assembly and its component
is.", or you agree to pay John J. Williams $100,000. Bcause CSICOP
and "Skeptical Inquirer" have repeatedly refused to evaluate my rock (below
for details), when I gave them free chances to do so, I have forever
forbidden both of them to ever access my rock (non-CSICOP skeptics
and non-Skeptical Inquirer skeptics may apply); therefore, to participate
in any evaluation program regarding my rock, you cannot work for, be an agent
of or contribute to CSICOP or Skeptical Inquirer in any capacity in which my
rock is written about, talked about, critiqued, discussed, analyzed, evaluated
or reported on. Address is: John J. Williams, P.O. Box 23097, Albuquerque, NM
87192 (for all tests, please specify exactly what tests you want
me to provide for you and step-by-step instructions on how to use your equipment
to do the testing, and describe all provided equipment by function, make, model,
weight and size.).
SOME INTRIGUING
FACTS ON THE EMBEDDED COMPONENT: The biggest area of interest in my
rock is the composition of the pins and base of the embedded component. The base
clearly appears to me to be made of a whitish ceramic or rock-like material, and
it is definitely not made of a plastic, rubber, wood, or metal type material.
If the base is ceramic, the number of companies that manufacture connectors is
limited, and the number of different types of small, 3-pin ceramic-based connectors
is relatively small. Virtually all connectors I've ever run into have a plastic
or rubber base. Ceramic connector bases are rarely used, and generally used only
to withstand harsh environmental conditions (e.g. the Space Shuttle
tiles are made of ceramic - not plastic or metal), such as where extreme
heat, radiation, high voltages, high power, and/or great longevity are required. With
worldwide publication of my rock discovery for years now, including
in prestigious coasttocoastam.com, UFO Magazine, Fortean Times and Nexus
Magazine, and with an hysterical onslaught of career skeptic attacks,
no one has been able to prove that my rock is modern manmade by providing
verifiable make and mode/part # of the rock assembly or its embedded
component. If an an industrial device is not modern manmade, then by
the process of elimination, it must be made by either space aliens or
advanced ancient man. Below, is a summary of what career skeptics who
contacted me claim about my rock:
Furthermore,
to even formulate and make a ceramic connector requires great heat and/or pressure
and substantial industrial capabilities. Furthermore, ceramics are brittle - indicating
that the component was embedded either when my rock was forming and still relatively
soft, or the ceramic was poured and set after my rock was formed (in
that case, since the connector would have the rest of The "circuitry" connected
to it, it is hard to see how the component's circuitry could have survived such
thermal stresses). There is no indication or evidence that any kind of
cement or glue was used to affix the component in place, so if on the other hand
the component was already complete and then inserted into the hard Petradox, it
would have had to be press-fitted. But how could it be press-fitted without breaking
relatively brittle ceramic or rock-like base and/or my rock itself (it
would be like trying to press-fit one ceramic dish into another) when both
the base and my rock have near-zero elasticities? And because both my rock and
the base are so hard and the base so brittle (if ceramic),
then it appears it would have been nearly impossible for a fully-hardened rock
and component of near-perfect press-fit dimensions to have somehow come together
on their own, and then some fortuitous event to have occurred to have carefully
lined up the component with my rock's hole, and then press-fitted the component
into the hole. On the other hand, it is more reasonable to believe that if my
rock was soft material at the time - tens of thousands of years ago - and the
component had been accidentally dropped on or near it, events could have occurred
where the component got stuck or pressed into the soft rock (e.g.
accidentally stepped on by some creature), and then my rock hardened around
it through high temperatures and pressures, but this could only have occurred
if the component was of UFO/alien or lost advanced civilization origin.
Another
issue is that small man-made electronic connectors virtually always come with
some type of hood or shroud made out of metal, plastic or rubber, and the part
of the hood/shroud that protects the pins is almost always bonded to the base
material with a powerful cement, often with a flange or threaded part for connecting
or mounting. This connector shows no evidence of a hood, shroud, flange or threads.
Therefore, I believe that my rock also protected the connector as a hood/shroud
would have, implying that the connector was intentionally made to be fitted into
rocks, implying that other such assemblies were made (for what
purpose?). If the component came with a bonded hood/shroud, it would be
virtually impossible to remove the hood/shroud without breaking the ceramic or
rock-like base. However, if the component was man-made without a hood/shroud for
some other purpose and then somehow "adapted" to my rock, then how would it have
been mounted for its other purposes?
It
should also be noted that there are a limited number of connector-type component
makers, and a limited number of connectors that have been made since the dawn
of the industrial age - especially when it comes to harder-to-make and more expensive
ceramic components. Therefore, if this component is man-made, certainly there
are engineers and technicians who have run into it and know the exact make, type
and part # for it - both in the United States and hundreds of other countries
where this webpage reaches. I've provided specific component details above which
should extremely narrow down all possibilities, if any. I, myself, am very experienced
with electronic components, and I have never seen one like it - even after years
of searching through electronics catalogs, books, magazines and stores (as
I originally and mistakenly believed that the embedded component might be a mike
(e.g. a XLR plug) or small power plug, I gave special attention to researching
and comparing these types of plugs). If no one can positively identify
it as a modern man-made component or assembly, then it is reasonable to believe
that the component or assembly was not made by modern man and my rock is essentially
authenticated as being of alien/UFO or ancient lost civilization origin by the
process of elimination.
Another
very curious feature of my rock is that apparently the base of the component has
been chipped. See lower left of the component in both the full view and the component
close-up view. Note that in the full view, and verified by my own examination
of my rock, apparently at some time in my rock's history, a hard object made a
violent glancing diagonal blow nearly parallel to my rock's surface that both
scored my rock and chipped the component base.
WHAT WOULD BE THE PURPOSE OF EMBEDDING A COMPONENT
INTO A ROCK?: The question has been asked: "Why would anyone
embed or implant a component into a quartzite, rhyolite or granite rock like that?"
Frankly, I cannot conceive of any logical reason why anyone would embed a
component into what appears to be a quartzite, rhyolite or granite rock with large
embedded quartz-like crystals. The Petradox must be one of these things: (1) A
prank or hoax. (2) Real and of modern origin. (3) Real and of ancient advanced
civilization origin. (4) Real and of UFO or alien origin. If it were a prank or
hoax, then it seems logical to me that a more easily acceptable "evidence"
would have been fabricated (e.g. alien footprints, alien clothes
fragment, advanced ancient civilization coin, etc)? Since my rock definitely
does not fall into predictable fabricated "evidence," then the hoax
or prank origin is reasonably eliminated as my rock is so odd that if it had never
been found, its existence would not be reasonably predictable. However, if my
rock is real - modern, ancient or alien - then the question must be asked, what
purpose would its embedded component have served? Certainly, modern technology
does not appear to offer any insight as to why someone would insert a high-tech
component inside of a quartzite, rhyolite or granite rock. This then leads one
to believe that there is involved some technological reason for joining a component
to a rock that is not understood by today's technology, thereby also reasonably
eliminating the real and modern origin possibility (if a prank
or hoax or if real and modern, the rock assembly or component would have been
identified soon enough by the many component experts out there with access to
this webpage, and years later, neither have been identified as moderm manmade).
This seems to me to leave only real and lost ancient society or real and UFO/alien
as the only reasonable and rational origin explanations. Since the technologies
of wiped-out ancient advanced societies and aliens are little understood, probably
highly varied, and much disputed, without much greater scientific testing and
analysis of my rock, it is very difficult to ascertain whether it is of ancient
advanced society or of alien origin at this point. Unrelated evidences point to
either alien or ancient technology source. For example, when the ancient Egyptians
built the pyramids some 4,500 years ago during the Bronze Age, they had to at
a minimum have possessed highly advanced mathematical skills that took 1,000s
of more years to be re-invented (now, the Ancient Greeks are given
the credit). So how and why did Ancient Egyptians apparently suddenly develop
such advanced knowledge of solid geometry (if a lost advanced ancient
civilization invented advanced solid geometry and passed it on to Ancient Egyptians,
then most probably it was either their direct ancestors or lived nearby)?
Furthermore, since publishing this webpage, I have been informed of several other
rocks-with-embedded modern-looking parts artifacts others have found worldwide
(EOPs and OOPARTs).
The
more I talk to people about my rock and examine and think about the component,
the more I believe that it is not a hoax or of modern man-made origin, and was
intentionally designed and used for a very harsh and/or long-term environment
involving a technology that we have not yet discovered.
ROCK's LOCATION: For security reasons,
I have made no written record of where I found my rock. While analysis of my rock's
composition may reveal fairly closely where I found it, I am unwilling to reveal
at this time site location (not even generally) for these
major reasons: (1) For the fear of what happened to the paleontologists who discovered
and extracted the T-Rex "Sue" could possibly also happen to my family and me (imprisonments,
huge fines, and losses of all rights; see "Rex Appeal," Peter Larson).
T-Rex "Sue" proves that the danger is real, and must be guarded against.
(2) Another big concern is that I cannot afford to purchase and secure the discovery
site unless and until my rock is authenticated to the point that scientists are
willing to commit themselves to the project, and should I reveal the site's location
before then, it seriously risks being irrevocably damaged and plundered by sightseers
and artifact thieves. However, if my rock is authenticated, and I can obtain insurance
that will protect my family and I to my satisfaction from such contingencies,
I will then purchase the site and secure it, and then and only then will I reveal
its location. Again, I only cursorily looked over the location when I found my
rock. If my rock is a genuine artifact, then the location needs to be scoured
by a team of scientists and other volunteers as soon as possible to uncover anything
else they can find relevant to the technology that went into my rock, including
the possibility that other such artifacts are buried there. The more time that
goes by, the more chance that the site will be permanently disrupted or damaged
just through the occasional public presence there (it has already
been several years since I found my rock). (3) My selfish motive is that
I want the scientific credit for my discovery, and I want the rewards that come
with the scientific credit, as well as the ownership of all future discovered
artifacts found at the site, if any. Therefore, I am not going to stupidly reveal
where the site is before all of my ducks are lined up to prevent some greedy crook
from stealing my scientific credit, buy the site property, and haul off possibly
truck loads of priceless artifacts from the site. I have already experienced the
wrath and threats of the many jealous and greedy people (as well
probable Government interest), who, while claiming to be career skeptics,
refuse to divulge who they actually are (because most are crooks
or spooks), their professional credentials (because most
are born losers who don't have professional credentials), or their real
motives for attacking me (other than trying to browbeat me into
revealing the site location to rip it off, or as part of a Government agenda to
prevent, discredit and destroy proof positive of aliens and lost advanced civilizations).
PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYTHING THAT THE CAREER SKEPTICS
SAY ABOUT THE PETRADOX UNLESS THEY FIRST REVEAL THEIR ACTUAL IDENTITIES, PROFESSIONAL
CREDENTIALS and REAL MOTIVES, and only then after they have provided the verifiable
make and model/part number of the implanted component or the rock assembly itself
that proves their claim that it is modern manmade.
The
circumstances of my discovery: I found my rock in a rural area, at
least 25 feet from the nearest trail (which was dirt and faint), not near any
urban areas, industrial complexes, electrical or electronic establishments, nuclear
facilities, airports, or military operations (that I was aware of).
The immediate ground was undisturbed. I was hiking in shorts. One of my instruments
indicated on the other side of a pair of dense bushes. I rashly thought that the
best way of reaching that area was to pass between the bushes. However, when I
tried, the bushes began to painfully poke and scratch my legs. To get through,
I vigorously shuffled my feet and stumbled out onto the other side. Once on the
other side, I looked down at my ankles to inspect the damage, and then noticed
my rock a few inches from my heel. The only thing visible of the component was
the tip of its three pins. I immediately recognized the pattern as being similar
to that used in electrical connectors, and picked it up. It was definitely a rock
that I had just kicked up because it had a thin layer of moist loose dirt and
some pliable root strands sticking out of it - evidence that it had been completely
buried between or very near the bushes. I don't know how deep it was buried or
the type of soil - perhaps as much as a couple of inches - or exactly where it
had laid. The bushes were fairly large, and of a species that I believe lives
for many decades. Once I cleared away the loose dirt and roots, I found that my
rock was encased in a hard layer of dried mud or clay. I later spent hours scraping,
brushing, probing and washing away the mud/clay to get a clear view of my rock
and its implanted component. I did much dental picking between the component and
the edges of its hole to try to probe as deeply as I could and still not destroy
it. For fear of ridicule and Government and skeptics harassment and possible persecution
of my family and I to rip-off or destroy my rock and discredit me, and also to
give me the time to try to find some manmade explanation for it, I quietly and
secretly held on to it for several years. Only in 2003, after I had exhausted
my efforts to find a modern manmade duplicate of my rock or its component, did
I decide to get it professionally and objectively evaluated, and took the risks
of exposing it to the public for that purpose.
ADDRESSING OTHER COMMENTS & OBSERVATIONS:
I very much thank and welcome all who have contacted me with their comments and
speculations. Because I am unwilling to reveal at this time where I found my rock,
some have speculated about its origin. To address some of these speculations:
IS THE
PETRADOX THE FIRST REPORT OF A "BURIED OBJECT PHENOMENA" (BOP)?:
While reports of industrial components being buried in ancient natural materials
such as rocks, stones, fossils, petrified woods, coals, prehistoric ambers or
meteorites are relatively rare, there have been a few (if you have
ever possessed or witnessed one, go to our rockforms.pdf (page 4) page to report:
www.consumertronics.net/rockforms.pdf).
On Jan. 16, 2004, Paul Sieveking (an Editor of "Fortean Times")
referred me to the Brad Steiger book, "Mysteries of Time and Space"(1989).
Four photos in the book's middle (unnumbered photo pages)
show a geode discovered in 1961 that was cut in half, and in its middle is embedded
a sparkplug-like component. This "sparkplug" consists of a hard white
ceramic-like outer layer with a metal electrode-like rod penetrating through its
middle. Note the uncanny similarity of the embedded industrial-like components
between my rock and this geode: (1) Hard white ceramic-like base material, in
which a (2) Metal rod is embedded, in a (3) Type of rock that is heavily laden
with quartz-like crystals and is clearly 100,000s of years old, in which there
is, (4) No rational explanation fitting a modern manmade scenario. BOPs are also
known as OOPARTs (Out-of-Place Parts), and as EOPs (Embedded Object Phenomena),
and as IOPs (Implanted Object Phenomena).
THE PETRADOX
NOT FOUND IN NORTHERN NEW MEXICO: I did NOT find my rock in Northern
New Mexico (north of I-40). My opinion about Northern NM
would never allow me to hike and search that area (a virtual violent
crime- and drunk driver-ridden and toxic waste dump haven controlled by some of
the most evil and corrupt politicians on this planet). Personally, I certainly
don't see how anyone could be stupid enough to visit Northern NM to explore anything
(Southern NM, including its major cities of Roswell, Alamogordo
and Las Cruces, are still very good, and most of Albuquerque is OK)! At
least for me, to be receptive to the spiritual and psychic vibes required to comfort
and help guide me to authentic finds, I have to be one with nature.
THE PETRADOX
NOT FOUND WHERE LAST ICE AGE LAID DOWN A GLACIER: When I found my rock,
it was inside of a thick coat of hard mud or clay lightly covered with loose dirt
and root strands, with barely more than 3 tiny dots visible indicating the ends
of the pins. I have been told that hard mud coat indicates that it is some kind
of glacial aggregate. However, my rock was not found anywhere near where glaciers
have been known to exist during the last Ice Age.
SOME SAY: 'IF
YOU ARE NOT A GEOLOGIST, YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO MAKE SUCH DISCOVERIES':
I have been asked: 'What are the chances that an Electronics Engineer would
make a possibly earthshaking find like this when many Geologists have spent a
lifetime looking for unusual rocks, and have never found a rock with an embedded
manmade-like component?'
(1) Does anyone really know for sure that other similar artifacts have not been
found by Geologists and others? Several reasons could prevent such a discovery
from being reported. What if a Geologist found such a rock, reported it, only
to find that it turned out to be a hoax - or was authentic but was believed to
be a hoax? His or her professional reputation then vaporizes! Many rock-hunting
Geologists are institutionalized - they work for government agencies, government-funded
institutions and major corporations, and therefore can be shut up fast if they
report such a monumental discovery and/or have it confiscated from them or destroyed.
I, myself, waited years to report my find because of my deep concern that our
Government will apparently stop at nothing to keep secret the truth about aliens,
UFOs and high-tech lost civilizations - and since revealing my rock, I have already
been approached by a suspicious-looking character asking me to give him my rock.
(2) Paleontologists all the time discover fossils. No one then says, 'Your
fossils must be a hoax because what is the chance of a Paleontologist finding
them over any ordinary hiker or Geologist?' While there have been Paleontological
hoaxes (e.g. Piltdown Man), it is almost certain that if
a Paleontologist reports that he has found a fossil, it is a legit fossil. Why?
Because they have the specialized knowledge of the area's history, formations,
geology, and specialized pattern recognition (with decades of electronic
design experience, I probably have a much higher pattern recognition for electronic
parts than do most Geologists for fossils) most likely to produce fossil
finds and the right tools to optimize fossil discoveries; therefore, a large disproportionate
number of fossils are found by them.
(3) I have never claimed that my presence in the immediate area of where I found
my rock was totally random or accidental. For years, I have been studying the
probable electronic and physical properties of high-tech alien artifacts and lost
advanced civilization artifacts and sites, including the designing and building
of much of my own instrumentation. In 1993, with some special instruments of my
own design, I visited Sedona, Arizona, to study its reputed vortex phenomena (I
wrote, "Sedona Magic," 1993, about this research - and even designed
an electromagnetic model for them). I have also designed and built electronic
artifact detectors (and metal detectors) which are built
into shoes. Unfortunately, since 9/11, it is almost impossible to fly a "shoe
artifact detector system" on an airplane without having it confiscated and
destroyed to verify that it isn't something else. While shoe detector systems
are a bear to design and build - really big loss if you lose one - they are very
effective for monitoring large areas continuously, unobtrusively, effortlessly,
relatively quickly and fairly thoroughly when compared to handheld monitoring
devices (I have also designed larger handheld devices, and some
systems built into hollowed-out walking sticks as well). While a properly
designed detector system may not find the actual artifact, it can apparently very
much narrow down as to where such artifacts are likely to be found by detecting
likely sites of alien and ancient high-tech activity. For example, nonlinear junction
detectors are very useful in detecting hidden semiconductor devices (modern
or ancient). Resonating cavity detectors are also useful. And anomalies
and aberrations in the magnetic, electrostatic, ultrasonic, infrared and thermal
fields can also be telling (I have also worked on detectors for
anomalous gravitational and ultraviolet fluctuations, but to get them to be reliable,
one requires near laboratory conditions, which are almost never true in the field;
and while radiation detectors are popular with some UFO investigators, my view
is that radiation would be just as dangerous to them as it is to us and that they
used fusion energy or ion propulsion; and the electrical environment is now so
heavily polluted near ground level virtually everywhere, detecting meaningful
(weak) electric field fluctuations from all the E-field garbage is almost always
a fruitless effort if one even has an idea as to what frequency or band out of
the enormous electromagnetic spectrum to look for). With increased site
detectability through good instrumentation and the right spiritual and psychic
vibes - being one with nature - for the optimum psychological frame of mind, one
can then more efficiently and effectively scour an area for ancient high-tech
artifacts. Much of it is attitude - I (among the few) have
been actively searching for alien and advanced lost civilization technology for
more decades. Your chances of finding items that you are deliberately and intelligently
looking for with an open mind is of course much greater than if you are looking
for minerals or lost jewelry or coins. This webpage describes many of the weird
type devices, including those related to the detection of unusual and unexplained
phenomena, I have invented, designed and developed => www.lonestartek.net/weird.htm.
And this webpage describes many of the researches I have made into unusual and
unexplained phenomena => www.consumertronics.net/weird.htm.
(4) I've run into this same kind of intractable professional arrogance before
when I solved The Riddle of The Ages - how The Great Pyramid of Egypt was built
using a nearly centrally-located hydraulic elevator, instead of accepting the
dogma of one of the idiotic ramp theories. See www.consumertronics.net/cheops.html. My Khufu Pyramid theory
has not been widely professionally evaluated because of professional arrogance
among Archaeologists and Egyptologists - they refuse to recognize that someone
outside of their cliques could possibly solve The Riddle of The Ages! Some great
Egyptologists and Archaeologists spent their entire lifetimes trying to solve
Khufu's Pyramid. I solved this entire mystery within a half-hour in late 2000.
Yes, I did not "earn" the right to solve Khufu's Pyramid. However, I
did in fact solve it, and my theory should now be seriously evaluated. When I
asked the publisher of a major Archaeological magazine to publish my theory, he
refused, claiming that it was, "too controversial." Yet, even
the idiotic kite theory was seriously considered by National Geographic Magazine
because it was proffered by a university professor. If I had been a major Archaeologist,
my theory would already have been seriously evaluated and probably now heralded
as the most reasonable theory based on the archaeological evidence, which I systematically
document in my book on the Great Pyramid. In fact, I practically begged both New
Mexico State University and The University of New Mexico to help me build a working
model, and while engineering department heads from both universities told me that
my theory is plausible, both have incredibly told me that their engineering schools
would not get involved unless they were PAID to get involved! That's how much
they both really care about scientific discovery. New Mexico's two biggest universities
- the University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University - are apparently
so impoverished and/or disinterested in the plausible solution to perhaps the
biggest scientific mystery of all times made by a citizen of New Mexico that they
won't at least help me build a model unless some private entity pays them to do
it! Yet, New Mexico promotes Roswell like it is Coronado's Lost City of Gold!
Dr. Zahi Hawass, the chief of Egyptian antiquities, asked me for a copy of my
Cheops Pyramid book which I provided him, and even after repeated requests, Dr.
Hawass - a major advocate of a ramp theory - refused to tell me whether my theory
is valid or invalid. Virtually every week on the science and history channels,
they still obediently promote the moronic ramp theories - even though of all of
the theories, building the Great Pyramid using a ramp(s) is one of the most impractical,
labor-intensive, material-intensive and mentally retarded of all possible methods,
of course, then obediently followed by another program on Roswell, Big Foot or
the Loch Ness Monster. In the scientific world, it does not matter a whit whether
you are right or wrong - only whether or not you are professionally and financially
connected.
IS
THE PETRADOX COMMERCIALLY SOLD TO HEAT ANIMALS OR EGGS?: Some have
speculated that my rock looks like some kind of electrically heated "rock"
typically found in terrariums and other enclosures for reptiles and birds to keep
the animals or their eggs warm (the "heat rock" or "hot rock"
theory). In my years of looking for duplicate components, I have also been avidly
looking for duplicate rock-component assemblies. I have found that "rock"
egg warmers, reptile warmers and bird warmers, while they do exist, are apparently
not commonly available or used. Furthermore, all that I have seen were made from
plaster, cement, concrete, plastic, ceramic, metal or wood - none from actual
rhyolite or granite rock. The Petradox is an actual rhyolite or granite rock with
coarse quartz-like crystal granules in its matrix (verified under
microscope examination). Clearly, it would not be cost-effective for anyone
to hollow out an actual rhyolite or granite rock to embed or implant electronic/electrical
circuitry when so many much easier, cost-effective and heat efficient methods
exist with rock-like appearances, most of which can simply be cast with the hole
or hollow place to hold the electrical parts. When rhyolite or granite is drilled,
it is usually a large slab or boulder, and usually to place dynamite sticks (e.g.
to build a tunnel or dam). Even if someone needed to drill a rock for one
of these uses, clearly he/she would choose a much softer rock like sandstone or
limestone. I know of no company that routinely drills small rhyolite or granite
rocks and embeds or implants them with electronics. Do you? Furthermore, if actual
rocks were drilled to turn them into heat rocks or hot rocks, the rocks would
be drilled from the end of their long axes so that a heating element tube, with
connector at one end, could be easily slid into the length of the rock to result
in more uniform heat distribution (X-rays reveal no embedded heater
element, see rock2.htm). Drilling a small round rock consisting of a hard
matrix of coarse quartz crystals far off the center of the rock and straight down
(as would be the case if the Petradox was drilled) is an
extremely difficult feat. If you don't believe me, try it sometime. As a test,
I have unsuccessfully attempted to do this several times on rocks of very similar
structure. The first big problem is securing the small round rock so it doesn't
tilt or move during the off-center straight down drilling. The second big problem
is not breaking the drill bits. Using high quality masonary drill bits with carbide
tips, when I attemped to drill the quartz rock, the 1/4"and 5/16" drill
bits snagged into the quartz crystals, torqued out and broke off. After losing
about 10 bits, I managed to make a ragged hole about 1/8" deep. Yes, rock
can be drilled when you talk about a relatively large flat rock surface and large
drill bits using a hammer drill. It is also not uncommon for people to break masonary
bits just drilling much softer concrete. For a person to do the kind of drilling
that would have been required to do the Petradox if it was drilled would require
an expensive laboratory set up, probably requiring a milling machine and some
type of diamond grinding tool - a monumental effort just to do a hoax.
IS
THE PETRADOX A HEALING STONE?: Another person, claiming to be an alien
abductee victim, told me that my stone looked very much like The "Healing
Stone" aliens used on him while they held him captive on one of their space ships.
This may be a possible explanation of why an electrical-like connector would be
buried inside of a stone that is filled with coarse granules of quartz-like crystals.
Quartz exhibits profound piezoelectric properties (mechanical forces
on quartz causes it to generate high voltages, high voltages cause quartz to exhibit
mechanical changes, and quartz crystals have resonant frequencies that depend
upon structure). Could my stone be a critical part of a healing technology
not yet discovered? Or for other scientific purposes, such as to study earthquakes
or high pressures?
IS
THE PETRADOX AN ALIEN TRANSDUCER / ALIEN TRANSPONDER / ALIEN TRANSCEIVER / ALIEN
REPEATER - EVIDENCE THAT WE IGNORE AT OUR OWN PERIL?: A "transducer"
is a device that converts one form of energy into another form of energy; for
example, a device that converts body heat into an electronic signal. A "transponder"
is a RF device that automatically transmits a signal upon reception of another
signal or detected event. A "transceiver" is a device that performs
both as a radio transmitter and radio receiver. A "repeater" is an electronic
device that receives a weak signal, amplifies it and then retransmits it as a
strong signal (e.g. a communications link between alien scouts
here on Earth and their mothership which could be millions of miles away).
Transducers and/or transponders and/or transceivers and/or repeaters are often
coupled together. Although I have no idea what technology aliens use for their
alien transducers, alien transponders, alien transceivers or alien repeaters,
any strange, unidentifiable electronic device planted in the ground or otherwise
concealed should be suspected as being possible alien spying or alien surveillance
operations, as well as alien mind control operations. It is reasonable to believe
that if aliens were planning to visit or invade the Earth, space aliens would
certainly monitor and control us first (including all of our major
fauna) through as many different modalities as they could, most of which
would entail transducers, transponders, transceivers and repeaters. The Petradox
may be one of the first indications of such a planned visit or invasion. We ignore
this possibility at our own peril!
IS
THE PETRADOX A GOVERNMENT TRANSDUCER / GOVERNMENT TRANSPONDER / GOVERNMENT TRANSCEIVER
/ GOVERNMENT REPEATER?: During the Vietnam War, our military was experimenting
with transponders that were to be scattered over large areas of Vietnam, generally
from an air burst, to detect and transmit enemy troop movements. And that today,
the Government uses transponders near military basis and other "sensitive
sites." To my knowledge, where I found my rock was not near any Government
facility or otherwise sensitive site. Nor was there any sensor or cabling connected
to it. Furthermore, based on what I have been told about Government transponders
is that they are almost all RF, with all circuitry, including battery, totally
encased and they were not known to be made from real rock but from a plastic clamshell-like
design with a detectable seam, which does not fit my rock.
IS
THE PETRADOX AN ALIEN OR GOVERNMENT SECRET 'DEATH RAY' WEAPON SYSTEM?:
One of the sets of high-intensity industrial X-rays taken of my rock show a relatively
large bulbous cavity adjacent to and extending below the component's cavity, connected
to both the component's cavity and the rock surface through small channels. This
cavity is not visible in visible or strong uv light or by using less-intense dental
X-rays. Dolphins and whales have a cavity on their heads that amplifies and focuses
sonar sound waves - sort of an amplifying sonar sound lens. Could this bulbous
cavity have an analogous function of amplifying and focusing some type of alien
death ray or government death ray?
IS
THE PETRADOX PART FROM AN UFO CRASH LANDING SITE?: A person recently
told me, referring to the strange black "stains" on the base of the
component (see petradox2.htm), that these black "stains"
look to him like parts of the stain-like characters he saw etched on a metal strip,
strap or band he discovered sticking out of the ground. He believed at the time
of his discovery years ago while hiking, the characters were of alien origin,
and that the metal of a bright chrome-like appearance strangely responded like
stiff rubber to his pulling efforts. He said that while he was able to partially
lift up some of the strip from the ground, he could not dig up, pull up or break
off the metal out of the ground with his hands, sticks and a small pocket knife,
and that he had no tools with him then to extricate it or to discover what was
at the other end. He said that several days later when he returned with tools,
he could not find the metal strip again. Also very interesting: He said that the
location of his site was within a relatively few miles of the location of my site,
which I have never publicly revealed to date!
IS
THE PETRADOX A CROSSE 'GOD STONE'?: In my own research, I ran across
the 1837 work of Andrew Crosse. By passing electricity through a porous quartz
stone in a chemical solution, Crosse claimed to have spontaneously created life
(tiny insects). Others verified his experimental results - including one of the
most honored scientists in all of history, Michael Faraday, who claimed that he,
too, created insects using Crosse's method. Could space aliens have used my quartz-like
rock (or one like it) to spontaneously create life on Earth
by dipping it electrified into a Primordial Soup billions of years ago, or to
recreate life even more recently? In the National History Magazine, Feb., 2004,
p16, there is a scientific article that states that porous clay could have produced
the required cell membranes and the linking of nucleic acids to produce RNA in
a cell-like body, resulting in the creation of life on Earth. If life can be created
using porous clay, then why not porous rock - especially if the right conditions
are induced electrically by some "alien god"?
IS
THE PETRADOX A PHILOSOPHERS STONE (SORCERER'S STONE, LAPIS PHILOSOPHORUM)?:
The Philosopher's Stone (or Sorcerers Stone ala "Harry
Potter" books/movies) is a legendary stone, believed to be manmade
from certain "secret ingredients" that could convert lead and other
heavy metals into gold (i.e. the transmutation of lead into gold),
and even cure diseases and injuries and make a person immortal. Becoming immortal
and rich beyond human comprehension has always been the wishes of many people.
The Philosophers Stone "secret ingredients" likely included an
embedded electrical probe that could power the Philosphers Stone through lightning
bolts or other forms of electricity to produce all of its incredible functions
when combined with the chemical and electrical properties of the stone? Could
this be why in many pictures of wizards you see the wizard holding an object in
his hand with lightning bolts? Could the Petradox be a form of the Philosopher
Stone?
IS
THE PETRADOX A GASTROLITH?: Another person told me that he thought
that the embedded component could have been joined with my rock while inside the
stomach of a dinosaur or some other large, extinct beast. Dinosaurs and other
creatures have been known to consume stones to help them grind up their tough
cellulose foods. Such ingested stones are known as gastroliths. I am not a Paleontologist,
but I can imagine the great amount of motions, pressures, heat and acidic digestive
fluids that would exist in such a harsh environment. If a rock was consumed along
with the component, and my rock happened to have a hole in it close to the diameter
of the component, with the lubrication of the fluids and the pressure and constant
churning, it appears that it would be possible for a component to be press-fitted
into my rock. Then, when the animal died, the digestive juices could have dried
and acted like a binding agent to further secure the component into place. I guess
only analysis will determine whether this is the case. Another possibility is
that space aliens or an advanced civilization could have intended that my stone
be used to study the digestive processes of dinosaurs or other large extinct beasts
by being fed to one as a gastrolith. If either is true, then clearly the component
is not modern manmade.
CAN
THE PETRADOX REVEAL AN ALIEN TECHNOLOGY IMPORTANT TO OUR OWN SURVIVAL ON EARTH?:
Without further scientific evaluation of my rock, there is no way that the technology
behind it can be determined. What if my rock does contain technological secrets
which will put those who study it in the prime positions to revolutionize technology?
It is incredible that this possibility is being ignored by the scientific communities
of nations. Some of the theories about my rock involve the component being placed
or dropped into my rock during my rock's molten state. Since there is no evidence
of any glue or cement securing the component into place, and since the base of
the component is a rock-like or ceramic-like material and would probably crumble
if press-fitted into any rock (where the base of the component is
raggedly chip indicates that it may be relatively brittle), the molten-state
theories must also be seriously considered. If the component contacted my rock
while my rock was in a molten state and survived as it apparently has, then the
component and its electronics are capable of surviving such a tremendously stressful
thermal event and the mechanical events that followed, accidental or intentional.
Also, since my rock has clearly undergone substantial water erosion, yet the component
itself appears to be still basically intact, regardless of how the component got
inserted into my rock, the component must have incredible mechanical and wear-resistant
properties. And the electronics themselves, buried inside my rock, may reveal
additional materials, and circuit designs and applications yet unknown to modern
man, and of possible astronomical significance in medicine, environmental monitoring,
biological monitoring, energy, communications, weapon systems - who knows. Or
be evidence of alien spy and/or control activities on Earth. If so, can we afford
to even go another day without discovering these technologies? And my rock's site
may contain many other critical evidence of the technology of alien or lost advanced
civilization nature we desperately need today - yet because I can't muster a scientific
team to investigate the site, the site and any possible artifacts could be forever
destroyed by development.
(1) SKEPTIC ALIEN/LOST ADVANCED
CIVILIZATION THEORY #1: Space aliens have never visited Earth, and there
never was a lost advanced civilization. MY
RESPONSE: Scientists rely on the Drake Equation to calculate how many
lifeforms and intelligent lifeforms probably exist in our Milky Way
Galaxy and the Universe itself. The Milky Way alone is estimated to
be at least 100 billion stars. Based on conservative assumptions that
only one star in 10 has a planet that supports life, that no solar system
has more than one such planet, and only one planet in 10,000 that has
life has a form of high-tech life (as of Sept. 2003,
110 planets outside of our solar system have been discovered using methods
that will only detect massive planets very closely located to their
suns - not relatively small Earth-size planets our distance from our
Sun), there are an estimated 1,000,000 planets in the Milky Way
alone with high-tech lifeforms! It is also safe to assume that many
of these are much more advanced than we are (with several
mass extinctions Earth went through first, and the penchant we have
for killing each other rather than exploring outer space, we are probably
millions of years behind most other planets with high-tech lifeforms).
In fact, funding of SETI (or Project Phoenix) can only be justified
if scientists reasonably assume that there are technologically advanced
aliens out there close enough for us to communicate with - else SETI/Project
Phoenix funding is a blatant fraud. Of the probable million high-tech
planets just in the Milky Way alone, it is reasonable to believe based
on the Drake Equation that at least a few have visited the Earth within
the last billion years - probably many more so and probably at least
some during modern times (because in the last century,
we've been broadcasting huge amounts of radio signals and television
signals, and launching satellites and space probes into outer space
and are therefore now much more detectable than before radio).
Based on large quantity of UFO and alien experiences documented in writings,
drawings, photographs, artifacts (e.g. The Petradox) and technological
achievements that cannot be reasonably explained as being caused by
man alone or by natural phenomena, at least some of these alien visits
have occurred since recorded history. It is furthermore reasonable to
believe that these advanced space aliens left at least some evidence
of their visits here (e.g. their trash, scientific instruments,
tools, constructions, accidental losses, burials, etc.). As for
lost advanced civilizations, there is clear evidence that ancient man
possessed advanced scientific and engineering capabilities (some
of which we've had to reinvent, and others of which we still haven't
solved) way before the known inventions of motors, electric power,
computers, telescopes, steel tools, antibiotics, materials science,
etc. For example, while the Greeks are given credit for inventing solid
geometry, clearly the Ancient Egyptians must have been experts in solid
geometry or the pyramids could not have been built. Either the Ancient
Egyptians are the real inventors of solid geometry, or it was passed
on to them by space aliens or by a lost advanced civilization that preceded
the Ancient Egyptians. And, prior to the Iron Age, how could Ancient
Egyptians have precisely cut and sculpted rhyolite or granite stone
with bronze and copper metal tools softer than the rhyolite or granite
they cut? Many more examples can be cited. And the fact that ancient
peoples probably could not have derived their highly sophisticated technological
advances through the Industrial Age process modern man went through
to derive them, then it is reasonable to believe that at least some
advanced technologies were gifted to them. The only beings who could
have possibly provided them these gifts were space aliens or prior lost
advanced civilizations.
(2a) SKEPTIC ROCK CREATION
THEORY 2a: Someone, perhaps yourself, either wanting to play a hoax
or just to idly keep his hands busy found an electrical component and
a rock probably with the approximately right size hole, drilled the
rock, then cemented or press-fitted the component into place.
MY RESPONSE: (A) More than likely, if a person is going to hoax something
like this, they would hoax it using a fairly common modern component
(e.g. flying saucers have been hoaxed using ordinary pie
pans). After 100s of responses worldwide, the embedded component
has never been identified by a make and model/part # (it is proven to
not be an audio XLR plug), it at best only superficially resembles a
few other items. So if it is modern manmade, at most only a few components
could have ever been made, and under isolated or secret conditions with
virtually no availability to the general public. However, if it is of
alien or lost ancient civilization origin, then it most probably was
a common component to them while being unknown to us. The most reasonable
choice between the availability of a one-in-a-billion component over
a common component is clearly a component that is common to the entity
doing the picking, ergo, not modern manmade. (B) The component's hole
has corners and a nearly straight edge and no telltale drill marks so
it clearly wasn't drilled. (C) No evidence of any glue or cement exist;
and the ceramic-like base of the component would have been crushed if
the component was press-fit it into this quartz-embedded rock. (D) If
for the purpose of a hoax, then clearly a much more predictable and
believable object would have been contrived, instead of one that does
not appear to make any logical sense and would therefore not be a predictable
fake. (E) The component has unexplained features, such as the clear
flow-pattern erosion of its pins, the mysterious metal blobs along the
base edge, the tiny metal particle on it surface, the missing chip where
visual evidence indicates that the rock was scored by the glancing blow
of something hitting it hard at a sharp angle. (F) The apparent exposure
of the component to very high temperatures during its lifetime. (G)
Connectors of that small size and configuration were not popularly used
in the US earlier than about the 1980s - relatively few years for my
rock to get encased in hard mud, and then lost and buried between two
large bushes by 1998. (H) When it comes to claims of alien origins,
debunkers are usually very quick at exposing fakes - especially fakes
that receive international coverage. I have literally put my rock through
the gauntlet of the harshest skeptics newsgroups repeatedly and over
many months, and not a single credible effort has been made by any debunker
to debunk my rock. Instead, they have resorted to personal attacks,
threats, curses, attempts at trickery (e.g. telling me
that I must use a sledge to bust open my rock to see what is inside),
and ape-like expressions, such as "Aaargghh!". The job of
career debunkers is to debunk hoaxes. A genuine alien or lost advanced
civilization artifact is impossible to debunk. And clearly that's why
my rock is not debunkable even by the most fanatical professional skeptics
on the planet.
(2b) SKEPTIC ROCK CREATION
THEORY #2b: Your Petradox was actually some kind of commercial or military
product that got broken and tossed, or just lost.
MY RESPONSE: (A) After 100s of responses worldwide, neither the rock
assembly nor its embedded component has never been identified by a make
and model/part #, it at best only superficially resembles a few other
items (e.g. heat stone, speaker rock), so if it
is modern manmade, then it is an extremely rare model. It is much more
reasonable to believe that it was/is a common model to the entity that
left it here, ergo, not modern manmade, or that the component somehow
embedded itself in my rock when it was in a molten state, 100,000+ years
ago. (B) When so many other very good much more easy-to-make substitutes
are available, it would not be cost effective for anyone to excavate
holes in hard rhyolite or granite for any massed-produced commercial
device using our current technology.
(3a) SKEPTIC ROCK DISCOVERY
THEORY #3a: It is unreasonable to believe that you ran into your Petradox
as just dumb luck. MY RESPONSE: (A) I have
been investigating strange phenomena for decades, as described above.
(B) I have developed innovative and unique electronic devices for my
investigations. (C) The site where my rock was found indicated on my
test devices as a likely site for genuine artifacts of an alien or advanced
lost civilization origin, so I did not stumble on the site out of dumb
luck.
(3b) SKEPTIC ROCK DISCOVERY
THEORY #3b: Since your Petradox is probably a hoax or stunt that you
are aware of or did yourself, most or all of the details about your
"discovery" of your Petradox are probably fabricated.
MY RESPONSE: Since it is usually impossible to prove that one does NOT
have a secret intention or agenda or that one did or did not do something
(e.g. explore a specific area on a hike alone with no
known witnesses) although one had equally good opportunities
to do or not do it, there is no way that I (or anyone
else) can disprove this type of false allegation and it is an
unreasonable expectation on anyone to be expected to prove that which
cannot be proved in either direction. This type of ad hominem attack
is a typical tactic of the career skeptic terrified of losing lucrative
funding if he/she ever accepted the hard evidence of space aliens or
lost advanced peoples.
(3c) SKEPTIC ROCK DISCOVERY
THEORY #3c: Somehow, the hoaxer knew where you would be looking for
artifacts, and then in advance secreted your Petradox at least minutes
before you got there, so that you would stumble onto the rock and honestly
be fooled by the hoax. MY RESPONSE: I didn't
know that I would be exactly at that site not on a path until minutes
before arriving there, and my "shortcut" between the bushes
was spur-of-the-moment, and thus not predictable by anyone, including
myself. If a hoaxer buried it there, it must have been with no expectation
that it would ever be found.
(4) SKEPTIC CONCLUSION THEORY
#4: Simply because a clearly industrial object is not modern manmade
does not mean that it was made by space aliens or members of a lost
advanced civilization. MY RESPONSE: Incredibly,
this was just one of several ridiculous assertions I have received from
fanatical career skeptics! No skeptic (and there were
several) who made this asinine assertion could provide me any
additional reasonable alternative(s) to explain who or what would have
made the embedded component if it was not made by (a) Modern man, (b)
Space aliens, or (c) Advanced ancient man. I suppose one could add,
(d) God (but then it would be perfect and not have a
chipped base), (e) Advanced other primate or even a high-tech
dinosaur or other non-human Earth creature not yet discovered (which
would be even more exciting and revolutionary than aliens and advanced
ancient man!), or (f) A complete accident of nature that produced
just the right combinations from randomly flinging around the materials
that went into the connector-like pins and base. NOTE: I am NOT claiming
that, if my rock came from space aliens, it proves that the originating
space aliens themselves actually visited Earth but only that they most
probably visited Earth and left the rock here. Rocks from other planets
have landed on Earth (e.g. the Mars rock discovered in
the Antarctica that many scientists claim have evidence of life).
Therefore, the space aliens that may have produced my rock need not
necessarily have a high enough technology to safely visit distant solar
systems, or even be living in the Milky Way Galaxy.
(4) SKEPTIC CONCLUSION THEORY
#5: Since the embedded component looks like it is modern manmade, it
must indeed be modern manmade. MY RESPONSE:
The other day, I saw a cloud that looked like Lincoln. Based on this
theory, the cloud must have really been Lincoln. Just because two animals
have fins does not mean that one came from the other or even that they
are related. Features evolve to address needs. To connect circuits together
requires a connector - no matter what planet or era you are from. Duh!
For a connector to work, the part connected to one circuit must reliably
connect to the other circuit in a way that completes the circuit. It
is reasonable to assume that, no matter where a lifeform lives in the
Universe, it is governed by the same laws of physics, chemistry and
math that we are. This means that virtually all advanced space aliens
must use electricity for energy and therefore use electrical connectors
to connect up their electricity system, and that each connector "pin"
must be a conductor and that there is a insulator base which firmly
holds all of the pins in the same configuration and alignment so that
connectors can properly connect and disconnect. Therefore, the variations
in which two circuits can be connected on Earth or anywhere else are
both limited and obvious. Variations mainly result from the number of
circuits involved and materials discoveries. 50 years ago, many electrical
connectors were made from primitive plastics like phenolic and bakelite.
Today, almost all are made from advanced plastics, which are stronger,
longer lasting, more easily and cheaply produced and more resistive
to high voltage breakdown, and result in smaller connectors. Thus, because
an unknown connector may look like a modern connector does not mean
that it was or was not derived from the other or that they are related
or not related to each other - not even in their time and place domains
of manufacture. Therefore, while connectors made by space aliens and
lost advanced civilizations may superficially look similar to modern
manmade connectors, they will not be identical to them unless copying
occurred (which is possible). Modern man could have copied any technology
from a discovered space alien connector (e.g. from a secret crashed
UFO), or advanced ancient civilization connector (e.g. from a secret
archaeological discovery), and aliens could have copied our technologies
(e.g. secret earth visitations and capturing one of our space craft).
Copying is seldom perfect so there are almost always some differences,
small as they may be. Compare the embedded component in my rock with
a similarly looking but much larger XLR connector (see petradox2.htm).
The existence of close copies without also the existence of exact copies
implies that some kind of non-modern manmade copying went on. Clearly,
our Government keeps secrets from us about alien crash landings, and
at the same time, it most probably harvests the newly discovered alien
technologies and secretly passes them onto friendly Government contractors.
This saves Government contractors from having to "re-invent the
wheel" - they simply reverse engineer the part, thus making huge
profits and taking undeserved credit. They and their Government buddies
keep the real sources secret because of they revealed them it would
both invalidate their patents and make them appear too stupid to invent
things on their own. And copying is not limited to functional or structural
copying, but could include the copying of the composition and/or assembly.
For example, one contractor who makes screws might copy the composition
of an alien component's pins to make screws because the pin's alloy
makes a better/cheaper screw than what already exists, while another
contractor might make knobs of the same alloy, and still anoher might
make ceramic tiles from the same ceramic material used in the alien
connector base. Also consider that if my rock is space alien-made, it
does not also prove that it must be 1,000s of years old, and even if
1,000s of years old, it could have been left here or arrived here at
any time before I discovered it in 1998. The only limitation that time
would have on my rock is if it was made by primitive mankind (I
define "modern manmade" as made by modern humans since 1492).
My Follow-up Letter to Dozens of Researchers and
Investigators of Unexplained Phenomena: "My previous
email to you and others: Hello. On June 5 [2003], I mailed you and 25 other research
and investigation organizations and persons a letter and a diskette concerning
a rock that I have owned for several years that has what appears to be an embedded
man-made-like connector type component. Hotlinks to various photos of my rock
and component are below. The component is about 1/4" across, and appears to consist
of 3 steel-like rods or pins protruding from a whitish rock-like or ceramic-like
base. There appears to be no indication of any kind of cement or glue used to
hold the component inside my rock - only a small amount of dirt on the recessed
component. The component appears to have been encased in my rock when my rock
was originally formed (I am not a geologist). I do not know whether or not this
assemblage is authentic, and being basically a skeptic, I am taking a wait-and-see
attitude although it appears to be totally authentic to me. If it is authentic,
it is a priceless artifact - the hard evidence that there was a very intelligent
life form that lived or visited our Earth 10,000s - to - millions of years ago.
And it would be invaluable evidence as to what technologies they had at the time.
Also, I just cursorily looked over the immediate area where my rock was found.
If my rock proves to be authentic, it would be a good idea for scientists to completely
scour the area for any further evidence. At the time of my mailing, I had expected
to keep my identity confidential, so I mailed my envelopes without a return address,
and did not reveal my identify in the letter or disk [I asked that contact was
to be made by placing a small ad in the newspaper]. However, last Sunday while
at a flea market I was approached by a complete stranger who asked me to give
him my rock, which was not with me, and which only one very close relative knew
about. I have no idea how he learned about my rock. I refused to even talk to
him about it, and walked away. I have hidden my rock where only I know where it
is at. If I had to guess, what probably happened was that at least one of my addresses
were bad. That envelope(s) then went to a dead-letter office, where it was opened,
the Feds were called, my fingerprints were retrieved from the envelope/letter/disk,
and my identity was thus revealed. Since my identity is now revealed apparently
to the Government, it is pointless for me to continue to try to keep it secret.
My only hope is that I can get my rock evaluated by competent scientists, engineers
and other researchers to either prove or disprove whether or not it is authentic.
I need to make it clear: At this point, I am NOT claiming that my rock is authentic
- I will claim that it is authentic only after competent scientific examination
proves beyond a reasonable doubt that it is indeed authentic. However, because
I believe that it MAY be authentic, I will insist that anyone and everyone who
comes into contact with my rock must treat it as if it is a priceless authentic
artifact."
WHY DO MAJOR NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITIES REFUSE TO
EVEN LOOK AT THE PETRADOX?: Universities are supposed to be institutions
of open-mindedness, scientific curiosity, and higher learning. Not bastions of
calcified politically-correct thinking where just about everyone's only intention
is to not rock the boat - apparently how New Mexico's universities operate. In
May and June 2003, I mailed letters, which included a clear image of my rock (top
of page), to the Geology (or Earth Science) Departments AND Engineering
Departments of The University of New Mexico (Albuquerque),
New Mexico State University (Las Cruces), and The New Mexico
Institute of Mining and Technology (Socorro) practically
begging them to at least take a look at my rock for free. All six Departments
refused to even eyeball my rock - much less to test and analyze it! Why? What
are they afraid of? Scientists are constantly crying, complaining and pontificating
that if there is indeed space aliens, UFOs and lost advanced civilizations, then
where is the physical proof - the hard evidence of these aliens, UFOs or lost
high-tech civilizations. You constantly hear this "produce the evidence"
mantra from them. Yet, when you offer them free on a platter the hard evidence
that could be the physical proof of aliens, UFOs or technologically advanced lost
civilization, they flee in every direction! The fact is, they are too timid, self-serving,
lazy, politically correct, and/or agenda-controlled to have any interest in real
evidence, physical proof, the truth, unexplained phenomena, or the advancement
of science that might in any way defeat their mantra! If I were a student or alumnus
of one of these schools, I would be on the phone right now to a couple of these
deans demanding answers! Certainly, if I were one of these deans, I would be emailing
Williams right now asking him to reconsider having one of my Geologists / Earth
Scientists or Electrical/Electronic Engineers to at least do an initial evaluation
of his Petradox. And the next time you hear one of these professional skeptic
phonies cry about no evidence of space aliens or lost advanced civilization, load
up this webpage on his/her computer and then demand answers in no uncertain terms!

INTERNATIONAL SKEPTICS MEETING, OCT. 23-26, 2003:
This Conference was held in Albuquerque, NM, at the Radisson Hotel and Conference
Center off Carlisle Blvd. With permission, I posted dozens of my free flyers on
the free CSICOP table (wonder how long they lasted before being trashed),
and for several hours, picketed the Conference. Each day, I also drove by the
Conference four times just to see if anyone else was also picketing it. Apparently,
I was the only one there demonstrating support of UFO/alien and lost advanced
civilization viewpoint. This Conference was heavily publicized. Although for 4
days the conferees continuously, loudly and publicly bashed those promoting beliefs
in UFOs, aliens, lost advanced civilizations and psychic powers, apparently no
one from Roswell, NM, Aztec, NM, Clovis, NM, Socorro, NM, Area 51, the numerous
organizations and investigators of these phenomena, or any of the numerous Northern
New Mexico's many "psychic frauds and racketeers" (former
New Mexico Attorney General Tom Udall's words - not mine) could bother
to make it. Apparently, I had to carry the entire load myself to represent the
non-skeptics view! While in the Carlisle Room (the Conference's temporary
CSICOP bookstore), I approached Dr. Ken Frazier (Geologist
and Editor, "Skeptical Inquirer," as he was pointed out to me by two
bookstore employees) to ask him about my rock, but just as soon as I did,
he wheeled around and left the room. Hmm. Laid out on the tables were dozens of
"Skeptical Inquirer" publications and dozens of other skeptic books.
I studied many of these, and while some had articles about rock drawings, rock
inscriptions, rock engravings and rock carvings (e.g. petroglyphs),
I could not find even one that covered the embedding into rock of modern manmade-like
components. Apparently, since this is not the first public report of such a phenomenon
(see above), CSICOP and the other career skeptics are refusing to address these
vital issues because they know they prove the existence of space aliens, UFOs,
and/or lost advanced civilizations. Neither CSICOP nor any of the other skeptics
- including "Rantin' Randi" - have indicated to me even the slightest
interest in testing and evaluating my rock. After all, if my rock is a genuine
artifact, they could go out of business as they would apparently have no further
justification to exist or to receive lucrative donations, and some may accuse
them of being frauds all along. Nor was there any sign at the skeptic's Conference
of then New Mexico Attorney General Patricia Madrid, Consumer Protection Division,
to warn the public of the many Tom Udall-labeled "psychic frauds and racketeers"
out to swindle the public from Northern New Mexico - apparently either an eye-wink
that it is now OK for all of these Tom Udall-described criminals to continuously
and blatantly rip-off the public from Northern New Mexico with impunity (guess
I am going to have to examine more closely Patricia Madrid - Tom Udall list of
political "donors"), or an admission that no Northern New Mexico
psychics are defrauding the public. Since the CSICOP Conference, I have written
CSICOP/Skeptical Inquirer twice asking them to evaluate my rock or else I would
never allow them to evaluate it in the future. They refused. Now, they are forever
banned from examining it.
CDROM OFFER: Please note that I not only offer my CDROM here but also in my eBay Store ("troodont") - SOMETIMES I LIST THE ROCK ITSELF ON EBAY AUCTION! We have compiled a copyrighted CDROM with 150+ jpeg images of my rock with embedded manmade-like component - The Petradox. Only a relatively small percentage of which I have published on my webpages. Furthermore, many of my CDROM images are minimally processed (mostly cropping), and many of those which were used to produce the images that appeared/appear on my webpages are much larger and rawer files (therefore higher resolution) on the CDROM. And we've put a ton of additional descriptive commentary on our CDROM. Our CDROM is now chock-full of these eye-popping sharp and clear images (many microscopic, X-ray and/or ultraviolet images) and details, and is only $19 each (+$6 S/H (USA/Canada, inquire if elsewhere) - no returns or refunds). Our intention is to produce only a limited number of these CDROMs, and the ones we sell will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis (some will be distributed free to those who have substantially helped and supported my efforts so far and/or who can be depended to do so in the near future). Should you be interested in my CDROM, do NOT delay in placing your order. Also, your order will help me continue my examination, research and study of The Petradox, and possibly its site (if I can interest a scientific dig team and obtain and secure the site). To order the CDROM, please complete a Consumertronics secure Online Order Form, or print out the Mail/Fax Order Form and fax or mail it to Consumertronics:
HOW YOU CAN HELP THE EFFORT: Should you be interested in helping me to be able to subject my rock to greater examination and analysis, and to hopefully be able to secure and dig the site, you need to become an active volunteer (unpaid, unless and until I provide written notice to the contrary): (1) If you are a member of the media or an author, please do a story that will substantially include my rock and contain my webpage address; (2) If you are a bonafide scientist, engineer or professional fortean phenomena researcher or commentator, you need to help me evaluate my rock, and/or put together and/or become a part of a scientific team to evaluate my rock and/or to dig the site; (3) Sustained research is not cheap - you need to become a benefactor and at this time irrevocably and without any qualifications or reservations pledge and obligate at least $100 to a non-profit organization, trust, LLC or corporation that I expect to later set-up for the research and exploration relevant to my rock (at this time, do NOT send me any pledge money - once I receive substantial benefactor pledges (including bequests), I will set up the proper organization and then call in the pledged monies); or (4) Make a substantial effort on my behalf to make (1), (2) or (3) above to occur.
Thank you for your time and attention, and best of successes: John J. Williams, M.S.E.E.
